The genesis of Bastide du Laizon
& Spa
Marie-Lucile has been a restaurant professional for 30 years. A sommelier graduate, she has created her own restaurant, worked in luxury brasseries and Michelin-starred restaurants. She has also worked in the field of luxury events (Roland Garros, Rolex Master Series of Paris, fashion showrooms: Karl Lagerfeld, Redemption, ... ).
" Of Creole, Guadeloupean origin, sharing, communication, good authenticity, simplicity and hospitality are part of my culture. I love to entertain, to share my passion for cooking, good products and well-being, in a friendly and warm atmosphere. "

In the heart of Calvados, Maizières is a small village crossed by the Laizon river, with its church classified as a historical monument (the Saint-Pierre church, XIIIth and XVth centuries), and located a stone's throw from the Suisse Normande (20km).
